CC Technology are pleased to announce that CC Grant Tracker has been selected for the supply of the new grants management system for Marie Curie’s research funding, with the system having gone live in November 2017.
Marie Curie is one of the most iconic organisations in the UK, providing care and support to people living with a terminal illness, and their families. Founded in 1948 and taking the name of the scientist Marie Curie, the charity today has more than 2,100 nurses, runs nine hospices and has helped more than 50,000 people in the last year. Furthermore, Marie Curie provides research grants to increase knowledge and understanding of ways to improve the care that people receive at the end of their lives.
Dr Sanjay Thakrar, Research Manager at Marie Curie commented – “Our new online grants management system will help us manage our research schemes more effectively and efficiently. It will ultimately help us reach our vision of a better life for people living with a terminal illness, as well as their families, friends, carers and communities”
Wan Fui Chan, Product Director, CC Technology – “Everyone at CC Technology is thrilled at the prospect of working with Marie Curie. This is a proud moment for everyone who has worked very hard on this project. Being able to associate the CC Grant Tracker system with a household name like Marie Curie further strengthens our position as the leading grants management system in medical research and they become the 18th member of the Association of Medical Research Charities to join the CC Technology family”
